2001 Mainship 430 Three Stateroom Trawler
PRICED TO SELL!
This comfortable cruiser has an open flybridge, aft deck, spacious salon, galley, three staterooms, and two heads- both with separate showers.
The flybridge has a wraparound setee and table for guests, with a bimini top overhead. The cushions are present and stored in the boat, as well as the bimini top. The canvas could be repaired or replaced, and the vinyl has some age and small rips, but could be used as-is. There are rod holders and a magma grill, so you can comfortably do some trolling and grilling while underway.
This is a great exterior layout for anyone who is active in the water! Divers! Swimmers! Dog owners!
The Deck space is ample for comfortable walking to the forward deck, and the aft deck has bench seating and access to the companionway, leading into the salon. The lower deck also has access to the aft cabin, and a tender cradle "trick davit" system.
The air conditioned salon is spacious and connects to the lower helm and galley. The galley is fully equipped for cooking family meals. The refrigerator is cold and works well! There is an ice maker that needs a new rotary pump. There is also a huge freezer space below the help bench that is currently being used for storage, but could be made operable again.
The boat does come with an 80lb Boss anchor, fenders and line.
The boat has three private, air-conditioned, staterooms. Forward is a V-berth cabin with under-berth storage and two hanging lockers. There is plenty of storage for guests to travel comfortably. Aft and starboard is a day head with toilet, vanity and separate shower. To port, under the galley, is a guest cabin with twin berths and hanging locker. The master aft cabin features a queen berth with under-berth storage, cabinets, a hanging locker, and an en-suite head, vanity and separate shower. The heads operate off the batteries and the hot water works!
Sweet T is powered by twin Cummins diesel (straight 6) engines with 330 horsepower each and under 3000 hours. Mechanical features include a Kohler 8kW generator. Both engines and the generator have been gone through extensively in July are are running great! Fully serviced and de-scaled.
There is Cruisair air conditioning system on the boat- 32,000 BTU. Three total units. Two are working, and the forward unit has a new compressor in it but trips the breaker.
The freshwater tank is 250 gallons, two black water tanks at 40 gallons each, and two grey water tanks. Fuel capacity is 500 gallons, split between two tanks.
The boat has Garmin GHC20 autopilot, but it currently requires work, as does the electric windlass. There is a slow drip to the starboard prop shaft which needs a new seal upon haul-out. There are several assets to the boat which are inoperable, which may be able to be fixed. Those include an oil transfer system, a water maker, a Samsung tv, Garmin AIS 600, Halcyon system, etc.
This is a GREAT project boat that could use some TLC to make her a fine cruiser once again. There are many unknowns with this boat, as the boat was purchased in similar condition, so some systems (water maker, etc) haven't worked in quite some time. It was used over the last few years to run around locally, so cosmetics and some systems were not prioritized, but the engines were!
