This boat is ready to fish today, or ready for new electronics depending on owner taste. Owner was going to upgrade electronics and LED lights on Family Tradition, then fell in love with a larger vessel that had all new Simrad and Lumitec led lighting already installed. So, he bought the "upgrade" by purchasing the other vessel. Now this one is for sale! Owner has invested in this fishing machine as a long-term hold, and now is an unexpected two boat owner!
Port low hour main was full Cat long block installation in Destin in 2017 by Tony’s Marine, an authorized Cat Marine Dealer, ~4xx hours currently. Have invoices. Stb is ~5800 hours. 2500 of these hours are at idle according to the computer... These are C-12s, Cat recommends 100,000 gallons till rebuild. Currently showing approx. 46000 gallons on the Stb. Oil samples and current fuel burn rates confirm the Stb is running great and should have another 4,000 hours till rebuild. 300 hours a year average, that is 13 years! It is rare to see more than 200 a year! If you know C-12s you understand there is no reason to be concerned for a 6-8,000-hour engine. The Port ECM was not changed or zeroed out when they swapped the blocks. The reason for the swap is due to an accident during an oil change. The tech drained all the fluid from the port and Stb motors. The tech then pumped oil back into the Stb motor instead of the port motor. The tech started the Port main, with no oil in the motor, and went back to truck to get new oil for the Stb main. When he got back to the boat, he realized from the sound, the port main was running with no oil. He shut it down, but Cat replaced the entire unit from the block up. Heat Exchanger, innercooler, etc were swapped as no damage was done to them. Bottom line, always check oil and coolant level before starting!
Currently being replaced: Main Helm Pump is being replaced. Shower Sump is being replaced. To be clear, the owner wants her gone now, but is ready to make the upgrades, current price reflects about 60K worth of electronics and general updates, plus another 10K discount for the higher hour Stb Main.
She has about 400 gallons onboard currently! Fill her up and you can head direct to Tampa from the Pensacola Pass to move her south! We also have local captains that will move this vessel anywhere needed! Interior, Helm, and upper helm pictures will be uploaded by May 10th.
I personally went and collected this vessel on a Saturday from Apalachicola and brought her back to Gulf Breeze FL. I would not think twice about jumping in her and running her anywhere on the gulf coast. If going to the islands or north east, I would change the oil and transmission fluid, new fuel filters, but that is it!

Located on a canal in Gulf Breeze FL as of Feb 2021. We can start with a video conference to show the unit if you are practicing social distancing! Vessel was kept in Port St. Joe prior to being located in Gulf Breeze to be closer to a major airport for showings. Fly into Pensacola Airport, vessel is about 30-45 minutes from airport. She was the Cabo Demo Boat for the first two years of service! Then spent most of her life in Destin, Tampa, and Orange Beach Alabama between the Warf and a local marina.
It is our job to give you the blank canvas for the weekend! Your job to paint the picture!
